War 2 OTT Release Update: Jr NTR & Hrithik Roshan Starrer Won’t Stream Anytime Soon

On August 14, 2025, the highly anticipated War 2, starring Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan, debuted in theatres to wildly enthusiastic audiences. But because of the movie's poor box office performance, there have been rumours of an early OTT release.
According to reports, War 2 will not be available for streaming on Netflix or any other over-the-top platform prior to its official release window, despite industry speculation that the producers might expedite its digital debut.
War 2 Will Not Have an Early Digital Premiere
Industry insiders claim that before moving to OTT, War 2 will adhere to the conventional eight-week theatrical window. This regulation, which was established by producers and multiplex chains, protects the movie theatre industry by preventing films from being released online before they have been in theatres for two months.
This means fans will have to wait until mid-October 2025 to catch the film on digital platforms.
